Zoelene Hill, Graduate Assistant

Graduate Assistant – Trenton, New Jersey

Zoelene is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Sanford School of Public Policy, where her research focuses on school readiness.  Zoelene serves as the co-chair of Duke University’s Black Graduate and Professional Student Association and works as the Graduate Resident in Giles Residence Hall.

While at Duke, Zoelene’s research has been supported by the Dean’s Graduate Fellowship, the Bass Instructional Fellowship, the Sulzberger/Levitan Fellowship, and a College Board Fellowship.   Additionally, she is a member of the Society of Duke Fellows. 

Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, Zoelene received her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, and her master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is excited to be working with such an exceptional group of young scholars.
